"I wonder
         what it is
                                       that I will accomplish
                                                today" ~ Mary Oliver

"Mom, do you know what we're doing? Butt to butt!"

(Asher & Edie running around in their underwear).
When the 4 o'clock hour hits our house the pants tend to come off & the kids play this silly game where Edie is the 'Fiffer Feffer Feff' & she chases & beats up on Asher - to his delight. We paused the game for them to come help me peel eggs for supper. We were probably listening to Frozen, the new soundtrack of our lives. (We were slow to jump on the Frozen wagon but are hardcore into it now).

Listening to Frozen in the van...
Asher says, "I would be an ice harvester when I grow up."
Edie without missing a beat, "I would be a troll when I grow up."

"From three to four, he planned to stand perfectly still & think of what it was like to be alive, & to wait for Fern." ~ Charlotte's Web

Mary Oliver

I find a page or two of poetry before bedtime helps clear my mind; & sometimes Mary says things just so.

Sunday morning, March 4th. Snowed in. A few grumpy moods to shake, cinnamon buns, a snow walk, watching Frozen, some painting...

"Oh, beautiful day, it is here at last! Today I shall find my friend."
