Happy Birthday, David Atlas!

You sure are a fun & sweet little guy to have around.

Seriously, you're loved to bits around here.

His actual birthday fell kinda flat so we celebrated again a little bit later with his brothers & sister & of course some cupcakes.

My attempt at getting a picture with the birthday boy, sans clothes post cupcake.

Having number 4 make it to one year old feels like a feat & my goal this first year was going to be 'survive' ~ but of course in hindsight it's already over & we didn't do so bad!

So on we go, four in tow.

At one (now 13 months) David is:

climbing! more so than any of our others

loves to see what's happening up on the table

not walking by himself yet, but pushing things around

loves to wrestle & romp

gives kisses

will whap us in the face for fun if we're not careful

is starting to get in James' space a bit which I find a little amusing

if he wants something: points & 'dis?'

Asher loves to hold David & just wants some love but Davie doesn't often enjoy it.

Edie knows best how to entertain & interact with him & David responds well to her.

David & James have more of a competitive relationship, but have started to have moments of play together which is really sweet.

I'm curious to see how the sibling dynamic changes as David gets older.

We love you, Davie!
