BC bound

I was very thankful to have my mum drive from Calgary to B.C with us. We had a fun (pre-emptive!) stop in Canmore for some Starbucks treats, & a fun picnic at the park in Revelstoke(?) The kids do pretty well in the van considering the duration of the trip!

We filled up our first week in B.C pretty quick with visits with all of our cousins & a trek out to Abbotsford & Chilliwack to see Kacey & Joyelle & their kids (Asher & Edie's second cousins).

It's so nice that all our family lives so close to each other now; a short drive to Loeve's, & just a few blocks to Cody & Kelly's as well as Clint & Emma's from where we were at mom & dad's.

This was such a fun afternoon - there's lot's of stuff going on at once over here! Such a different vibe at an older kids house; Asher had a ton of fun - Juder sure can make him laugh!

After Abbotsford we headed out to Chilliwack to visit with Joyelle & her boys. We had a great time playing outside, climbing trees, & driving Benny's tractor (which he graciously shared with Asher all afternoon)!

We also went blueberry picking across at the neighbours, a gorgeous little spot!

Good job, kids!

Topped it all off with a wiener roast.
