Happy Christmas (a little bit early)!
We headed off on Saturday to spend the day at our fellow Houston's.
Despite our residence's being closer this year we'll be missing each other at Christmas so we decided to celebrate a little bit early together! We had such a fun day - Jess kicked us off with a delicious brunch, the girls kept us busy with card games while the boys played trucks (trucks, trucks, trucks)! We opened a couple gifts, took the kids sledding, made gingerbread houses, Jess & I even managed a bit of a town excursion!
A very fun day, love our family & seeing these kids together.
Didi got a lot of love from her cousins! :)
Love the tree!

Reading the Christmas Story.
Pretty cute hat, Didi!
Lounging with dad.
I see you, Henry ;)
I wanted to get a picture of all the kids outside but by the time the girls caught up with the boys they were a little bit cold already!
Taking turns.
Taking a cue from the Martens with appy's for dinner. I didn't capture nearly all of it!
Edie enjoying some time under the tree while the boys play some music.
Thanks Auntie Jess for helping Asher make his first gingerbread house! I love how intent he was on getting these candies on. (He managed to sneak a few in his mouth, of course...)
Tuckered out.
Time for a show.
What would these boys do without their blankets?!
these are the BEST...Houston FUN! looks like a such an enjoyable & relaxing Christmas day. How did you accomplish this? :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time. Is Edie doing smiles already!?! Isn't she just like, 3 weeks old still!? Gah, time flies!!
