calgary visit

We had a great past week visiting family & friends in Calgary...

it flew by of course; Asher loved being at Grandma & Grandpa's house again & settled right in. He basically played cars/trucks all week with the toy garage & read books with Grandma & had fun downstairs in the new playroom. I didn't get a picture of it but it's awesome!

It wasn't too cold while we were there so we took advantage of the park a couple times; tossup of who loves the swings more - Asher or Violet! They were giggling away.

June came out to play, too :)

So good to see family again, visit the city, & get my shopping fix! ;) 

We also made our fair share of fires downstairs! Give Joel some wood & he'll make you a roaring fire.

I wasn't sure how it would feel heading back home, but I think we surprised ourselves by missing our town a little bit. I admittedly missed the snow here - I had assumed there would be snow in Calgary & was all set to take Asher sledding out back & was quite disappointed to find it bare & brown when we got there! Oh well. Till next time, Calgary. Time to hit the road...

Asher played the puppy card & asked for 'Papa Gammy's house' all the way home...

It's good to be home again.
