Gramma & Papa's Visit

We had such an awesome time while my mom was here visiting! We owe the entirety of our successful first couple weeks with Edie to her presence here. She spent two weeks with us when Asher was born and I knew I wanted to have her here again with another new baby.

Thankfully it didn't take long for her & Asher to become besties; she spent so much time with him playing & reading, even rocking him to sleep. And when she wasn't playing with Asher she was holding the baby, & when she wasn't holding the baby she was whipping up some scrumptious thing or other (on request or not - hello cinnamon buns, perogies, turkey soup, pear pancakes etc)! And when she wasn't busy in the kitchen she was probably doing another household task... She did finish a book while she was here so she got to put her feet up a little bit ;)

My mother is a tireless force. And she fondly refers to her visit as a 'Gramma Holiday'!

We went out to watch Joel play flag football at the school - my mother the loudest cheerleader!

                                     

                         

My dad managed to get away from work for a few days as well to come & visit. Asher sure loves his Papa!

My mom took the time to whip up a little early birthday celebration for Asher.
