We went on a spontaneous camping trip a couple weekends ago to join some friends in Waskesiu. Their kids Ethan & Luca (above) are both a bit younger than our own.

We had wanted to make camping happen at some point this summer & I didn't think we were going to get there, but I'm glad we made the effort (& had the invite, haha). Waskesiu has a really different feel about it, kind of like the Banff of Saskatchewan. It has a nice little town (the most expensive latte's you can find!) & the main beach has a great park right nearby. The beach closer to our campsite was really nice as well. Thankfully we had decent weather :)

After we packed up on the last day we went to town to play at the park & get coffees & cinnamon buns :)

Camping is so much work to prep for & also to clean up after!!!

But we sure had a fun time!
