nursery / newborn

A few photos of Edie's nursery... it was quite fun putting it together.

I tried to keep it fairly neutral til she was born as we didn't know if she was a boy or a girl.

All the gold details were added after!

Edie is one month old now but I took all these photos within the first month.

The white owl lamp was also a gift from Joel when we lived in Vancouver.

I found the stick that's on the wall while on a walk in Calgary & I guess the boys had a hard time believing it was going in the moving truck come packing time... But this was its future purpose! I made some little trinkets & feathers to hang from it & the mobile.

Love these owlie lights from Grammy - they're very pretty when lit up at night.

This mobile was super simple to make, but I'm still pretty proud of myself for making one!

I picked up this mirror at an estate sale.

Auntie Dessy's old kitty... (Sorry, Des, does baby Loeve need it?)

I painted & refinished all her furniture items - the changing table, crib, & side table (the process of which you can see here).
