Knife Skills

Our Chef at Lepp's decided to put on a Knife Skills Night for us kitchen girls & show us a thing or two. Lucky for us our lesson included some dinner as well!

Rosemary & Garlic Foccacia with sweet balsamic reduction & olive oil.

A quiche bar with assorted toppings... I had mine with roasted vegetables, spinach & sundried tomatoes.


Baby greens & cherry tomato salad with balsamic roast garlic vinaigrette to complete the course. I'm inspired to make quiche at home (so good) - for whatever reason having it in a little personalized size makes it seem like such an awesome, easy idea!

Various vegetable cuts:
Dicing in different sizes
Julienne
Chiffonade
Segmenting an orange
Filleting

Ryan also showed us how to break down a whole chicken.. & I had a peak-see into the meat cooler in the back.

To end our evening: Lemon Ice Cream Sandwich "popsicles."
