Going back to short hair ~ a simpler version of me.
I debated for a long time if I should do it, but felt like something in my life needed to go -
& it was my hair. Love this article by Elizabeth Gilbert on the subject - I resonated with a lot of what she said.

Trying to keep up with life / kids / work.
Reading.
Rebounding.
The odd project.

Going to do my best to Lazy Genius my 40's.

"Here the quickening yeast;
there the blue plums.
Here the clam deep in the speckled sand.
Are my boots old? Is my coat torn?
Am I no longer young, & still not half-perfect?
Let me keep my mind on what matters,
which is my work,
which is mostly standing still
& learning to be astonished."

(The Messenger, Mary Oliver)
