David, 5 years old in review

Davie is our responsible little rule follower. He's gotten pretty good at counting (10, 20, flirty). He's usually up first in the morning ready for breakfast. He loves drawing & colouring. He's pretty inquisitive, asks a lot of questions & actually wants to know the answer. He's particular to a fault & quite stubborn at times. Making decisions can be tricky. He's typically very helpful & is quite good at doing/getting things himself. He's enjoyed kindergarten this year & also his home days. At home with me we usually take Goldie for a walk (either climbing snow mountains or puddle stomping), play a game & bake something. We usually have a town day for groceries & he loves hitting the 'play place' if we can. We've enjoyed a few audiobooks together this year - a few each of Laura & Ramona. He likes to play with friends - he played a lot with Layla & lately more with Luke who lives close by. He & James got into a phase of some pretty intense imaginative play downstairs before bed in winter. Goldie can work David pretty good, but he also does it back. He's pretty playful & good with her.
