leek & potato soup

Edie lost two teeth in a day & helped me make supper & got to work writing out the recipe so thought we'd share it.

Leek and potato soup by Jamie oliver / Danny and Edie

 3 carrots  3 celery sticks.1 onion  1 pound  leeks chop and cook  in pot for 10 min . add 2 garlic cloves . cook in pot for one min

Peel and chop one pound potatoes add to pot add 7 cups

Broth bring to boil and simmer for 10 min put the lid on

Season with salt and enjoy.

Serve with a slab of walnut cranberry bread a la Joel!
