Here is James in his glorious year of being FOUR. What he was about & up to:

Bowser / dinosaurs / occasionally putting on Davie's pants by mistake / asking to change his name to Lloyd / eating lettuce & big carrots / learned to ride his bike in summer / cheese eggs / Bups his sidekick / mint chocolate chip ice cream / getting ice from the freezer / freezing cups of ice / freezing things in cups of ice / getting chunks of snow to chop inside / playing with Ashley / prankster 

"Don't come in, it's Bowser business!"

 "Mom, I want to go outside - it's a glorious day out there!"

"Did you know this mom - dinosaurs don't walk, they stomp!"

"Mom I've got a joke for you: bibbity bobbity boo, turn Asher into a poo." 

(or Mommy into stew)

Making mom a birthday card: "Did I do good, Daddy?"

 "I know, Jesus died to save our skins."

"Mom, change your mind. Trust me."

"I oopsies put too much toilet paper & pee & poop in the potty."

Favourite flavour: mint chocolate chip

learned to ride his two-wheeler!

we were both super pumped.

When asked what his last name was at church to sign in: 

"...Jimmy Cricket!"

Running up to me...

"Please don't call the police! Please don't call the police!" 

Me: 'Why?' "I was going so so fast on my bicycle!"

"My name is Lloyd Ethan Jiminy Cricket"

"Guess what I"m thinking about... Space!"

 "I like fall. Then I get to cannonball in big leaf piles."

"I'm getting bored. You know what that means." (opens the freezer...)

"I need pizza! I need pizza So badly!" (crying over a flesh wound)

He had a couple good knocks this year.

After saying Psalm 23 with me: 

"I believe in Jesus."

"I wish I had a real sword. Then I could chop down a tree."

Guessing what his birthday present will be: 

"a button that shoots out a hundred million dinosaurs as big as our house!"
