calgary trip / winter 2015

We had lot's of fun on our Calgary trip this Christmas, hanging out at Grandma & Grandpa's house with the family...

I was so happy there was snow in Calgary! We went out sledding a few times & Asher loved it! I was quite impressed - he mostly wanted to go down by himself & would hold on for dear life all the way down. & only one minor wipeout! Wasn't too interested in walking back up, though...

A very rare nap / checking out the animals at Bass Pro

It was on my to-do list to take the kids to Micky D's while we were in the city. We don't have one here so the kids had never been & I wanted to take them for the play park etc. The play park was definitely overrated (ie. too crowded for Asher's taste & a bit dominating). But the chicken nuggets were a hit! Edie loves dipping sauce which I think is awesome because Asher wouldn't dare.

& on the road again...

They were actually holding hands! Momma melt.

Of course we missed our Schlamp family this year... 

but can't wait to meet the two newest additions, Molly & Chloe!
