Right here is my favourite time of day. (If things are going well, fingers crossed! ie. both babes are accommodating a nap). After lunch & putting Asher down Joel heads back to work, Didi soon follows & this is my golden hour... tidy the kitchen, pour a coffee, & enjoy some quiet time before we start all over again!
& here's "my" space...
I've started reading the "She Reads Truth" blog. They post great daily write-ups including a bible reading for women. I'm not very good at getting up before the kids in the morning, so for me this is a great time & space for the Word. I've really been enjoying their posts; not too trite, not too heady, & not too long! ;) Right now they're focusing on a Lent series & I'd definitely recommend checking it out. (Thanks for the nudge, Kelly!)
I'm also reading "Bread & Wine" at the moment... (Des, have you heard of this one?) By Shauna Niequist. Mostly about food/motherhood/friendship... life in general. She writes about her boys, "they are very real, very normal children, not angels or devils, just children - difficult & sweet & exhausting & wonderful all in the same moment, all the time." I love hearing honesty from other women/mothers... it's great to post cute pictures & all but it makes my day when I know I'm not the only one struggling with a tough toddler etc... (Love you, Asher!)
Cheers to Wednesday, napping kiddos & a cup of hot coffee!

Love the quiet moments in the house! Looks like Asher has those cars lined up just perfectly :)
